At Stavehøl we offer camping – but with a touch of glamour and magic. Our meadows are home to a handcrafted 18.5 square metre Kyrgyz style yurt and two gorgeous lotus belle tents with similar dimensions. All tents are furnished with one double and two single beds, somewhere to keep your clothes, comfortable mattresses, pillows, duvets, linen and towels. They have been perfectly placed to give you plenty of privacy, peace and quiet – it is truly a beautiful and unique way to camp on Bornholm.
The meadow and glade are of course car-free and offer lots of freedom and safe space for roaming children and outdoor games.
You can pick fruit for your breakfast from our redcurrant and blackcurrant bushes, and plums, apples, pears and walnuts are available in season.
You always have access to the cosy communal ‘atelier’ in the farmhouse. You’ll share this with other guests staying in the yurt or bell tents. The ‘atelier’ has a well equipped kitchen (with fridge-freezer), dining table, power points for charging your electricals, free high speed wifi and 2 bathrooms with solar heated showers, heating and a washing machine. Sitting on the comfy sofa, warmed by the wood burning stove, you can use the small library of books, maps and board games and see on the noticeboard whether Phil has any guided nature or archaeology walks planned.
