Hi!

We are a small Swedish family of three that would love to stay at your place this summer! It looks amazing! Our son is 6 years old and he has seen your pictures and he loves the tents!

Is this the right way to book? 🙂

2 nights 2 July-4 July if it is available? Or any two nights the same week?

Great cozy spot for a weekend stay in february/march. It’s a little off the main road and Phil was very kind to drive us to and from the busstop. That was a big help :) The apartment had everything we needed and we warmed up by the fireplace when we got back from Gudhjem and ådalen.

Beautifully located place, the landscapes surrounding the house are so much worth discovering. We came in a winter time and it was snowing, but still, we managed to both hike and cruise in our car around the island.The hosts are so kind and helpful, they helped us settle down, find places to visit and made sure we have everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten eine gute,ruhige Zeit in Gudhjem. Leider hatten wir relativ schlechtes Wetter was sich aber in unserer Wohnung alles gut aushalten ließ. Das Umfeld war sehr schön mitten im Grünen,so das uns sogar ein Reh besuchte. Wir wünschen Katrin und Phill alles Liebe und kommen gern wieder Hartmut u. Karola

We spent two lovely nights at this beautiful private cottage! Phil met us and showed us maps of the area and recommended sites to see on Bornholm! The cottage was large and spacious. Very comfortable! We were surrounded by beautiful grounds and lots of fruit trees and berry bushes. We were just minutes from Gudhjem, and a walk from the famous Round Church. We absolutely enjoyed our time and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Katrin and Phil!!

Stedet er super hyggeligt. Phil tog imod os og fortalte engageret om stedet og mulige seværdigheder. Man deler varmtvandsbeholder med nabolejlighed, så det kan være nødvendigt at nogle tager bad om aftenen da det kan knibe med vand om morgenen. Vi oplevede det dog kun et par gange efter det kom andre naboer. Så det afhænger af hvor gode folk er til at spare på vandet. Alt i alt et rigtig godt og hyggeligt sted.

Vi havde nogle virkelig dejlige dage i Phil og Katrins lille oase, der ligger perfekt til at udforske Bornholm. Meget imødekommende værter, der hjalp med mange gode råd til oplevelser på øen. Vi kommer gerne igen!

Had an amazing stay! Listing just as described, area is quite. Apartment had everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, coffee, oil, spices and etc available. Also lovely area to sit outside and grill.We were traveling with bikes and had no issue to get to the place.

Katrin and Phil's place is magical. By walking in the forest down the road or by just sitting in the front yard you can hear hundreds of birds. It is a magical singing bath. Peaceful and green outside, and cosy inside, Katrin and Phil's place is highly recommended for exploring Bornholm away from tourists and close to nature.

Fantastic three night stay during our cycle bikepacking odyssey. Clean and functional, we made our own dinner sourcing food from the Osterlars supermarket 2 km along the adjacent cycleway. Lots of info available of what todo, suggestions. Highly recommend

Lovely house in the country. Enjoyed the rustic charm complete with wood stove warmth. Extremely beautiful high spring stay; the cottage is surrounded by flowering trees. Loved proximity of hiking trail to the sea, waterfall, and bike trails at the doorstep. Phil was very responsive and extremely helpful and accommodating. Great place to stay on an enchanted Danish isle.

We had a wonderful time staying at Katrin and Phil’s old farm on Bornholm! You get to stay in a beautifully renovated farm building in the middle of nature, a perfect location to explore the island from and so close to Gudhjem which was our favourite little fishing village. Phil also gave us a very warm welcome and was very generous with recommendations on walks and sites to visit. The house was very clean and dry, and we really appreciated the wood burner which made for very cosy evenings. The accommodation suited us perfectly and made our trip extra special, thank you for having us!

The house is really clean and it has all the necessary (a lot of kitchen utensils, spices, some food from previous guests, shower gel and shampoo, etc.), for a cozy stay. The surrounding of the house is just amazing.
Phil is really nice and helpful.

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful hiding place. Rustic decor, simple and very cozy. It was too early in the year to really enjoy the garden and land around the house, but there is plenty of space to play, explore and relax. Phil is friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend Stavehøl to anybody looking for peace, nature and a friendly host. Thank you.

Katrin and Phil’s place was a cosy evening hide away from the November weather. The wood oven kept us warm though warm clothes were definitely important to bring too!

Utrolig hyggeligt sted i smukke omgivelser. I huset var der alt, hvad vi skulle bruge.
Phil var super venlig, og hjalp med ekstra brænde og gode tips undervejs. Stor anbefaling - særligt hvis man har bil, da det ligger midt ude i ingenting - hvilket vi nød. Smuk gåtur ud til vandet gennem vild natur. Tak for et godt ophold.

We enjoyed our stay and it lived fully up to our expectations. We loved the somewhat off-grid atmosphere with wood fire and a rather rustic kitchen. Perhaps not the most practical kitchen, but for a short period of time not an issue at all. The cozy feeling made up for it. We can highly recommend the restaturant "Provianten" at Gudhjem. Thanks Phil for sharing that recommendation. Also my youngest daughter and I went for a service at Øster Lars Rundkirke. Even for those who never go to church, I would say this is truly a unique experience. In Danish we say "at komme ned i gear" (to get down in gear) and that is exactly what we achieved spending quality time with our semi adult daughters. PS! The hike through the forest to the beach and back was gorgeous.

Phil stod klar og bød os velkommen, da vi ankom til stedet.
Huset er smukt renoveret og har en rustik og autentisk charme. Køkkenet er veludstyret og der er et dejligt badeværelse. Den lille brændeovn varmer godt og er nem at bruge.

Området ligger smukt midt i naturen med stier og et skovområde med et lille vandfald. Vi så forskellige vilde dyr.
Vi benyttede os af bålpladsen til at lave aftensmad en af dagene og nød at spise af de lækre pærer og æbler, som var faldet ned i græsset.

Vi var i Gudhjem en af dagene og kørte tur langs kysten. Ferien var alt for hurtigt slut. Vi kommer med glæde tilbage en anden gang.

Katrin et Phil sont sympathiques et très aidants. Phil est même venu me mener au ferry, car j’ai manqué l’autobus qui est passé 10 min avant son temps. D’ailleurs, ceux qui n’ont pas d’automobile sont dépendants des horaires d’autobus pour se déplacer sur l’île. Assurez-vous de bien comprendre leur fonctionnement ! Il y a une application qui peut vous aider.
L’appartement est privé et a tout ce qu’il faut. Merci à Katrin et à Phil pour ce beau séjour!
